Read "Back Issues" of our fliers here. Part-Time Dealers Did you know that you could be getting more shifts right now if your employer would return to the industry standard of working us one hour on our games between breaks? If you are a Part-Time Dealer coming up a bit short in the "shoulder season," this might not be happening at all if our employer would use the industry standard as ours. Our employer could have more rested Dealers, and Dealers could all be making more money if we returned to the way that it was done in Tahoe from the 1950's until 2004. Learn more about the consequences of hour-twenties here. The Name Change Soon, we will no longer be working for Harrah's Entertainment. TPG/Apollo is changing the name of the company to "Caesars Entertainment Corporation!" How does this relate to the "lipstick on the pig" quote that you find on the TPG!! page? Is this to make the name itself an easier sell when TPG/Apollo unloads the company? Why would a private equity company concern itself with a name change if they were planning on holding our company for a long time? The restructuring will continue...are you next? The clock is ticking The Nevada Supreme court heard the case regarding the legality of seizing Dealer tips for redistribution on April 7, 2008. Protect yourself and your friends! This affects all tip earners, waitresses and bartenders included. Read about Harrah's new owners under the TPG!! tab above. Do not "wait and see" Harrah's confiscate our tips only to have to fight to get our money back. We can prevent it today! Navigating the Site The "Back" button must be used instead of closing windows. An "Hour-Twenty" tab has been added (top) to set the record straight on this topic. TPG!! is an eye opener. Learn about a deal that was blocked because they planned too many cuts and layoffs. There is a lot of information contained in this website. It can be overwhelming and continues to expand. If you are new or just returning to the site, here are some of the highlights. First, learn the facts that they stopped short of telling you in the meetings plus our response to the meetings within the buttons labeled "Myths and Lies" and "The Meetings." "Link of the Week" contains important links to elsewhere on the internet. Among them, you will find parallels between our meetings and Steve Wynn's final Union-busting meeting with Wynn Dealers and a recording of his speech. Track the progress of Dealers nationwide who are organizing on the "Dealers Unions" page. "Union Advantage" highlights some of the differences between some compensation packages of Union vs. non-union employees. We still have no guarantee from Management that they will not seize our earnings for redistribution! "Stealing our Tips?" continues to explain this issue that we can easily prevent. Click on the "Union Busting" tab to learn about Harrah's efforts to subvert our efforts to secure our financial future. In a typical Union-busting campaign, a company like Harrah's can be expected to pay $10,000 per employee. That is no joke. Harrah's will likely spend millions of dollars on its out-of-town Union busters that it could have been investing in its loyal workforce all along. This section has expanded. It is our employer who chooses to make the situation ugly, not the workers wishing to form their Union. Click on "Exposure" video to learn about a $6,000,000 two-month Union-busting campaign against MGM's Dealers. How much does Harrah's save by making us work hour-twenties? Major casino corporations hire pricey Union busters, but they continue to concern themselves with saving a couple dollars on each of us daily by overworking us. "Feedback" tab is where the most activity takes place. If you have been through the site and still have any important questions and/or input to provide, this is where they are addressed.
